Getting There by Public Transport

By Train

Crystal Palace Station is situated next to the Park off Anerley Hill. The station has regular trains to London Bridge, Victoria and Croydon. The train from Victoria takes approximately half an hour and the line is run by Southern service from West Croydon to London Victoria.

Penge West Station is via Thicket Road to Penge gate entrance. The line is managed by Southern and trains are from:

• London Bridge to Sutton via West Croydon
• Charing Cross to Caterham
• Charing Cross to Tattehnham Corner

Penge East Station is via Thicket Road to Penge gate entrance. The line is operated by Southeastern. Main stations to Penge East are Kingscross Thameslink, London Victoria, Charing Cross station. Journey time from London Victoria is approximately 16 minutes.

By Bus

From the northern end of the Park on the road of Crystal Palace Parade you can get the following buses:

2, 3, 63, 122, 137a, 202, 227, 249, 306, 322, 358

From the southern end of the Park (which has the Penge entrance onto Thicket Road) you can get these buses:

194, 227, 312

Crystal Palace park is about a 10 minute walk from Crystal Palace Station, 5 minute walk from Penge West Station and 15 minute walk from Penge East Station

From the M25 Motorway

Head southwest on M25 toward Exit 3. At junction 3, exit toward A20/London(SE & C)/Lewisham. The at the roundabout, take the 5th exit onto the A20 ramp to London (SE)/Lewisham and merge onto A20. Take the A222 exit toward Bromley/Chislehurst/Sidcup. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto A222/Perry St and continue to follow A222. Turn right at B264/Old Hill and continue to follow B264. Turn right at A222/Widmore Rd and then turn left at A222/East St and continue to follow A222. Take the 1st right onto A222/High St and turn left at A222/Beckenham Ln continuing to follow A222. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto A234/Beckenham Rd and continue to follow A234. The turn left at Anerley Park and take the 3rd right onto Anerley Park Rd. Turn right at Thicket Rd

Not using the M25 Motorway

From the A205: Head northeast on A205/Rochester Way toward Cobbett Road. At Well Hall Rd, take the 4th exit onto A205/Rochester Way Relief Rd. Turn left at A205/Westhorne Ave and continue to follow A205. Go through 2 roundabouts and then turn right at A205/Sangley Rd. Continue to follow A205 and continue onto A212/Catford Hill. Continue to follow A212 and go through 1 roundabout. Turn left at Lawrie Park Rd and then turn left at A234/Crystal Palace Park Rd. Continue to follow A234 and turn right at Anerley Park. Take the 3rd right onto Anerley Park Rd and turn right at Thicket Rd. Continue to follow to car park.

From the A23: Head north on A23/Purley Way toward Queensway. Turn right at A232/Purley Way and continue to follow A232. Turn left at A232/Park Ln and continue to follow Park Ln. Continue onto A212/Wellesley Rd and continue to follow Wellesley Rd. Turn left at A222/Wellesley Rd and continue to follow A222. Turn right at A222/Hogarth Crescent then turn left at A212/White Horse Rd. Turn right at A213/Northcote Rd and continue to follow A213. Turn left at A214/Anerley Rd then turn right at Thicket Rd.

From the A232: Head southeast on A232/Croydon Rd toward B272/Plough Ln, Turn left at A23/Purley Way and at A236, take the 4th exit onto A236/Mitcham Rd. Turn left at A213/Sumner Rd and then turn left at A235/London Rd. Turn right at A213/St James's Rd and then turn left at A213/Windmill Rd. Continue to follow A213 and turn left at A214/Anerley Rd. Then turn right at Thicket Rd
