Saturday 15th March Run Report

Saturday morning saw Armagh parkrun number 22, and a cool morning welcomed the parkrunners to the 5km Palace Demesne Course. 51 runners came along to the Palace Demesne, and further 8 volunteers were in attendance to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Eamon O'NEILL (SM30-34) (Unattached) was second over the line in 22:06.
Raymond MULLEN (SM30-34) (Unattached) was third over the line in 22:37.

Armagh parkrun started on 12th October 2013, and since then 367 different runners, including participants from 22 athletics clubs, have completed 1,346 runs covering a total distance of 6,730 km, and there have been 321 new Personal Bests.

The women's record is held by Rossa DONNELLY who ran in a time of 00:21:54 on 2014-02-15 (event number 18).
The men's record is held by Tim KELSO who ran in a time of 00:18:18 on 2014-02-15 (event number 18).
The Age Grade course record is held by Matt SHIELDS who recorded a 80.30% run (19:48) on 12th October 2013 (event number 1).

Saturday morning saw Armagh parkrun number 21, and the strong winds offered another challenge for the parkrunners around the 5km Palace Demesne Course. 45 runners came along to the Palace Demesne, and further 8 volunteers were in attendance to ensure the event ran smoothly.

Monthly Prizewinner February 2014

Armagh parkrun would like to congratulate Julie-Ann McKeown on being awarded the prize for February. Julie-Ann attended all 4 events in February and managed to run a pb on 2 of the Saturdays. Julie-Ann has been a regular attender since Armagh parkrun commenced and has ran 16 of the 20 weeks so far !!! A voucher for new running shoes ( sponsored by Swaet Shop) is just reward for her efforts !!!

The 20th Armagh parkrun saw a great Saturday morning for the parkrunners around the 5km Palace Demesne Course. 55 runners came along to the Palace Demesne, and thanks to the volunteers who also came along on Saturday morning to ensure the event ran smoothly.
