Barrow parkrun 313
There was a spooky feel to today's Barrow parkrun as an assortment of witches, pumpkins, skeletons and ghouls jogged, ran and walked around the park this morning, celebrating our Halloween run.
Unfortunately there was no celebratory runs this week, but we did get to celebrate the 8th birthday of one of our junior runners, William Jones Barnes, thank you very much for the chocolates that we all shared after the run, and we hope you enjoyed us all singing Happy Birthday.
We welcomed tourists this week from Manchester, Stevenage, Sheffield, Hanley, Liverpool and Marple. We hope you enjoyed our slightly undulating course.
This week 171 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 15 were first timers and 20 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 16 different clubs took part.

We welcome children at parkrun. Please note that those under the age of 11 must be within arm's reach of a parent, guardian or designated adult of the parents' choice whilst attending 5k parkrun events. It must also be ensured that children place themselves appropriately at the start so as to prevent a situation where they are being repeatedly overtaken. This is to ensure the safety of your child.
See you all soon
