Barrow parkrun 347
Barrow parkrun returned this week, after missing last week due to another event taking place in the park. Many people used the opportunity to take part in some parkrun tourism and we hope you all enjoyed your runs wherever you were.
We celebrated 2 milestone runs this morning with Stephanie Blackburn completing her 50th run and Dave Harker completing his 250th run, this is a major achievement for both runners, congratulations and thank you for the cakes that we all shared at the cafe after the run.
Milestone runs are rewarded with a 10 T-shirt for junior runners, adults have to wait for 50,100 then 250 runs. T-shirts are also awarded to volunteers after their 25th time of volunteering.

We welcome children at parkrun. Please note that those under the age of 11 must be within arm's reach of a parent, guardian or designated adult of the parents' choice whilst attending 5k parkrun events. It must also be ensured that children place themselves appropriately at the start so as to prevent a situation where they are being repeatedly overtaken. This is to ensure the safety of your child.
See you all soon
