Barrow parkrun 349
This weeks parkrun celebrated two double centurion runs for Donna Spiers and Jeff Crosthwaite, whilst this isn't a milestone that is rewarded with a T-shirt, it is regarding as a major achievement. Both Jeff and Donna took part in the first Barrow parkrun on 24th September 2011.
We also celebrated the 9th birthday of one of our marshals, Poppy Ashton. Hope you had a lovely birthday. There was plenty of cakes and biscuits to celebrate both events at the cafe after the run where we all meet for a chat in the sunshine.
Tourists descended on us from near and far on Saturday as we welcomed people from Rushcliffe, London and Sydney Australia. We hope you loved our undulating course and we hope to see you again.
Don't forget, date for your diary- Saturday 28th July Purple parkrun day.

We welcome children at parkrun. Please note that those under the age of 11 must be within arm's reach of a parent, guardian or designated adult of the parents' choice whilst attending 5k parkrun events. It must also be ensured that children place themselves appropriately at the start so as to prevent a situation where they are being repeatedly overtaken. This is to ensure the safety of your child.
See you all soon
