In his 8th appearance, Martin HOLLYWOOD (SM35-39) of Thames Turbo Triathlon won in a time of 18:46. David BELL (SM30-34) representing Ranelagh Harriers took second by 37 seconds recording 19:23. Ian CHARLTON, (VM45-49) of Unattached placed third in a time of 19:45.
In her 11th appearance, Sharon Marie DOOLEY (VW35-39) of Ranelagh Harriers won in a time of 24:08 for the 1st time. Sharon Marie DOOLEY beat Toni CALLEN (VW35-39) by 14 seconds recording 24:22 in the process. Valerie COOPER, (VW45-49) of Epsom Oddballs RC placed third in a time of 24:40.
In today's Age Graded competition, Andrew ALLEN recorded a performance of 73.88%

In the points competition Ian COCKRAM has a lead of 58 points over second placed Peter BELL.

Merilyn DAVIS leads Toni CALLEN by 148 in the ladies competition.

This week there were 9 first timers.

11 runners recorded PBs, bringing the total number since the Bedfont Lakes started to 1042.

In this time, 974 runners from 88 different clubs have completed the race 4460 times covering a distance of 22300 kilometers.

The male course record is held by Richard WARD who ran 16:43 on 30/05/09, event #4.

The female equivalent is held by Vicky GILL who ran 17:50 on 01/08/09, event #13.

In his 3rd appearance, Chris GRAHAM (SM30-34) of Serpentine RC won for the 3rd time in a time of 18:01. Nigel SWINBURNE (SM30-34) representing Dagenham 88 Runners took second by 34 seconds recording 18:35. Peter MERRITT, (SM25-29) of Southampton AC placed third in a time of 19:20.
In her 2nd appearance, Jennifer AKROYD (SW30-34) of Dagenham 88 Runners won in a time of 24:33 for the 1st time. Jennifer AKROYD beat Merilyn DAVIS (VW50-54) by 6 seconds recording 24:39 in the process. Valerie COOPER, (VW45-49) of Epsom Oddballs RC placed third in a time of 25:52.
In today's Age Graded competition, Thomas JAY recorded a performance of 85.69%
In the points competition:-
·        Peter BELL has a lead of 24 points over second placed Ian COCKRAM
·        Merilyn DAVIS leads Toni CALLEN by 150 in the ladies competition.
This week there were 12 first timers.
15 runners recorded PBs, bringing the total number since the Bedfont Lakes started to 1031.
In this time, 965 runners from 87 different clubs have completed the race 4393 times covering a distance of 21965 kilometers.
The male course record is held by Richard WARD who ran 16:43 on 30/05/09, event #4.
The female equivalent is held by Vicky GILL who ran 17:50 on 01/08/09, event #13.

In his 5th appearance, Ryan BROOKLING (VM40-44) won for the 5th time in a time of 17:37. Tim GROSE (VM40-44) representing Victoria Park Harriers & Tower Hamlets AC took second by 29 seconds recording 18:06. George THOMAS, (JM15-19) of Walton AC placed third in a time of 19:35.
In her 10th appearance, Alice WILLS (JW14) of Windsor, Slough, Eton & Hounslow AC won in a time of 20:51 for the 8th time. Alice WILLS beat Merilyn DAVIS (VW50-54) by 240 seconds recording 24:51 in the process. Charlotte ELMS, (JW14) of Halliford Colts Runners placed third in a time of 27:02.
In today's Age Graded competition, Ryan BROOKLING recorded a performance of 78.62%

In the points competition:-

  • Nigel POOLE has a lead of 3 points over second placed Peter BELL.
  • Merilyn DAVIS leads Toni CALLEN by 51 in the ladies competition.
This week there were 9 first timers.
18 runners recorded PBs, bringing the total number since the Bedfont Lakes started to 1016. In this time, 953 runners from 87 different clubs have completed the race 4316 times covering a distance of 21580 kilometers.

The male course record is held by Richard WARD who ran 16:43 on 30/05/09, event #4.

The female equivalent is held by Vicky GILL who ran 17:50 on 01/08/09, event #13.
