With a lot of local races on this weekend there were 88 people who ran or jogged the course on a cool, windy morning. We welcomed 24 first timers including visitors from as far afield as South Africa along with representatives of 18 different clubs.
Congratulations to the 18 who recorded new Personal Bests which included leading lady Catherine Smith of New Forest Juniors on her 2nd First Finish. London visitor Ian Crispin celebrated joining the 50 Club today by leading the field home on his first run at Brockenhurst.
Catherine was beaten however on Age Grade scoring by regular Rosemarie Osborn of NFR but by only 0.04%! Rosemarie set an impressive 81.09% and was only 11 seconds off her PB.
Many thanks to the 18 volunteers below who made this morning's event possible and produced a perfect set of results. Thanks go not only to our regular stalwarts but to visitors David Heath and Michael O'Keefe who helped set up the course and Omid Mahmoudi who marshalled the dogleg and scanned. David ran his 353rd parkrun and has volunteered at Poole parkrun on over 250 days!!
It would be great to have some more regular Volunteers particularly for the Volunteer Coordinator and Run Director roles. Training is available for all of the roles.
Thanks go to:
