Just to remind everyone, Barcodes must be printed to be scanned. Barcodes on phones or other devices will not scan - remember no barcode no time so please don't forget your barcode #DFYB

A big Thank you to all 20 of our wonderful volunteers again this week! If anyone would like to get involved and volunteer please contact us via our facebook page or email us at burnley-juniorsoffice@parkrun.com

Run report 12/03/17

Thankfully the rain held off for the 58 juniors who joined us for our #31st Burnley junior parkrun in Towneley Park this morning 11 of which were first timers.

Congratulations to the 12 juniors who achieved PB's today!

Please remember that junior parkrun is a fun run, you can run, jog and / or walk it doesn't matter how fast or slow you are we are delighted to see you all taking part. Some more competitive children may use junior parkrun to test themselves against their own times and against others, participation should ultimately be for fun and we ask all parents/family members/guardians/volunteers not to put the children under pressure to perform.

Good News from junior parkrun HQ - certificates will now be available for any junior who completes 100 junior parkruns! Bands and certificates are available for 11, 21 and 50 runs. Certificates are available by logging into your parkrun profile and clicking on the "club progress" section, you can print off or download your certificate there.

We would like to wish our very special photographer David a very Happy Birthday! Thank you David for all you do we all appreciate it greatly.

As usual we would like thank all our amazing volunteers, without them this wouldn't be possible! If anyone would like to volunteer please contact us via email, facebook or speak to one of our Race Directors.
