Well it was certainly cold this week with very few people in the park other than the intrepid 236 parkrunners and of course our fabulous team of volunteers.
I didn't get around to writing a report last week so must just mention that David Drewry completed his 50th parkrun a couple of weeks ago, Jenny and Derek Hall also completed their 50th and Greg Mills completed his 250th parkrun on 26th January. What fantastic achievements and hopefully they will be getting their anniversary t shirts very soon.
You will probably have noticed our megaphone is not what it used to be and we know a lot of people struggle to hear us at the briefing. We are therefore saving up for a more robust alternative, so if anyone would like to make a donation, however small, then please go to the following link. Thank you.
Finally, we have been asked to promote Hargrave 5k and 10k cross country race which is to be held 9th March at 2.30pm from Hargrave village hall IP29 5HP. All funds will go towards Hargrave church repairs. To enter please go to https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/...search "Hargrave" in the "Looking for" box.
And finally .....
