The course is 5000 meters (5km) long. This has been accurately measured by AIMS measurer Hugh Jones. This is not an official road race as the course consists of mixed surfaces (grass and gravel). Hence while we have made every effort to ensure you run exactly 5000 meters, small differences are possible due to the varying surfaces and conditions.
Please remember that Bushy parkrun uses shared paths within Bushy Park. For the continued success of the event, please keep to the right and give way to other park users. This won't hurt your time, it won't stop you from getting a PB and it will make sure everyone continues to to enjoy the event.

Please, wherever possible walk, jog, cycle or use public transport when attending the event. If you do have to drive, please consider car-sharing to reduce our impact on both the environment and other park users. Please also watch out for other park users when arriving and leaving. Parking is limited so try to arrive early.
There are two car parks in Bushy Park we use: one is by the Diana Fountain roundabout which is suitable for people coming in via Hampton Gate; the other is off Chestnut Avenue as you proceed from Teddington Gate (right turn 300m down Chestnut Avenue from the Gate).
