At our Christmas night on Saturday 3 December at the Royal West of Scotland Amateur Boat Club (the building you never quite reach when you turn on the Esplanade each week) we want to give out some awards! We just need your help deciding who gets them...
We have come up with several categories, and we'd like you all to make your own nominations under each one. To do so, please copy and paste the questions below into an email, add your answers and send to email@example.com before 25th November. You can choose any of your fellow parkrunners who you think deserves to win. All answers will be treated confidentially. If you have a story behind any of your nominations then we'd love to hear that too!
Once we have all your nominations in, your group of Run Directors will collate the winners, who will be announced at 8pm on Saturday 3rd December.

Our next theme run will be on Valentine's Day, where we will be encouraging you all to run naked. Don’t worry, we aren’t turning into nudists, we just want you to take part without your wrist and ear candy! That means no watches (yep, that's right, we're actually suggesting you run without your Garmin!!), no mp3 players, and no mobile phones. We are encouraging you to leave them all tucked away at home while you take part in parkrun.
To add an extra bit of interest to your naked running, we are asking you to have a guess at what time you think you'll complete parkrun in this week. We'll create a table with all your predictions and have a bit of a contest to see who manages to run closest to their anticipated time.
To be part of the Naked predictions, email us (firstname.lastname@example.org) what time you think you’ll run this week before Friday 13th and we’ll add you to the chart. We’ll be taking a note of times on the day before the run too, but the more we can get emailed in this week the better it will be for our volunteers.
As it's Valentine's Day we'll also be encouraging you to come in Valentines themed clothing. This could be as simple as a red or pink t-shirt, but as you know, we love any reason to dress up so we'll also be delighted if anyone gets more creative. We did have a zebra run on Christmas Day afterall so the madder the better!
Now that we have your attention....don't worry, we aren't talking about running without your clothes on. That would be silly! We're interested in a different kind of layer shedding – the kind that involves technology.
Our next theme run will be on Valentine's Day. We will be encouraging you all to take part without your wrist/ear candy. That means watches (yep, that's right, we're actually suggesting you run without your Garmin!!), ipods, mobiles – any electronic device whatsoever! We are encouraging you to leave them all tucked away at home while you take part in parkrun.
Does this mere thought send you into a sweaty panic? If so, you’re not alone. Imagine the pressure our timekeepers are going to feel!! But also imagine the excitement you'll feel waiting to get that text or email with your time. A Valentine's Day gift for all!
Go on, we DARE you to RUN NAKED (Electronically. Cannot stress this point enough!!) on Saturday 14th February. You never know you might enjoy it and it could be the most fun you have with your clothes on!! Speaking of fun in your clothes.....

We thought it would be a good idea to have a Christmas night out for all our parkrunners!
The chosen date is Saturday 6th December, and we thought the Spinnaker Hotel in Gourock would be a good venue. Rumour has it they may even offer us some food if there are plenty of people there...
We hope you can make it along, and look forward to seeing everyone in "normal clothes"!
