At Parkrun: Grovelands
PB 24:21
Best moment at Parkrun: I always enjoy running more when there is a small group. You can each push each other on and race each other to the finish (it's always more satisfying to beat one's friends).
Funniest, strangest or worst moment: My worst moment occured a few weeks ago after I had been out for a celebration dinner one Friday night. Worryingly this had involved rounding the night off with cocktails... the reasons for which are lost to me. Having missed the last tube home, the night bus beckoned. Suffice to say forcing myself to run after a long week at work, a heavy night out and far too little sleep did little for my PB and a lot for nausea.
What you like best about Parkrun: Parkrun helps you make the most of the weekend and blows away the cobwebs of a week stuck in the office. A little fresh air and a (free) run in the park does wonders for the soul.
Favourite book: The Night's Dawn trilogy by Peter F Hamilton - truly epic sci-fi!
Favourite film: The Bourne trilogy - he's simply unstoppable!
Favourite music ( to run to) : I like a good power ballad.
Favourite place to run: Grovelands of course!
Best moment ever (in running): I'm yet to have a best moment ever...
