Harrogate parkrun #289 Run report

Wow what a weekend ! After a week of grim weather Saturday dawned with warmth and sunshine, perfect parkrun conditions.

And it really was a perfect parkrun morning. A crack team of awesome volunteers on had to ensure that 339 runners joggers and walkers made it round their three laps of the Stray.

A welcome return for the awesome Bob Smith on photo duty who we really have missed whilst he's been away.

The results were processed in record time as I had a race to get too by 12, cutting it a bit fine so thanks again to his weeks dream time cause I made it in time.

So short and sweet for this weeks run report. We came we parkran, it was fabulous !

And that's about it except to mention this weeks milestones.

This week we have 2 new volunteer clubbers Stephen MORRIS & Tony SHAW will be rockin the purple tee's soon. It was busy in the run club arena too Thomas WAREHAM gets his junior 10 Club with Duncan BELLIS & Martin EADES clocking up their 50th runs and Stephen ELLISON did his 100th parkrun well done all of you.

Just a few more reminders.....

In Case of Emergency - Please double check that your emergency contact details are complete and up to date on your parkrun profile. You'll find a link to your profile on your weekly results email and newsletters or via this How can I access my profile / account? link. It only takes a few moments, put could really help us to help you if and when you most need it.

Barcodes - Is your printed barcode looking tired or not scanning easily? There are a range of tough and durable plastic parkrun barcode ID tags and parkrun wristbands available via http://www.parkrun-barcode.org.uk/ These are the only UK authorised and professionally printed tags and feature the parkrun branding and logo, your athlete details and can also be personalised with your ICE (In Case of Emergency) telephone number and additional information including specific medical details. They come in a range of options and can be attached to a key ring, laces, and running vest zip or worn on a lanyard.

Volunteering - We do ask that each of you, if possible, volunteer 3 times over the year. It is thanks to our great volunteer teams that parkruns around the world continue to happen every Saturday. Harrogate is no exception and without your kindness we would not be able to put on this wonderful free event. If you would like to help out please visit http://www.parkrun.org.uk/harrogate/volunteer/ for more information or talk to anyone in a yellow vest on parkrun day and then email us at harrogatehelpers@parkrun.com to get involved.

That's your lot,

See you on Saturday
