Hazelwood parkrun Event 36

Welcome to this weeks parkrun report.

Who would have thought winter was almost upon us. A lovely sunny morning greeted the 124 participants that ran, jogged or walked the course, of whom 19 were first timers and of which 4 were experiencing parkrun for the first time and 28 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 13 different clubs from around the UK took part including Basingstoke, Colchester, South Milford (Selby) and Cheltenham. We hope you enjoyed the experience and hope to see you again.

Lastly, as many of you are aware, there was an incident on the course today where one of our regular runners took a tumble. Thanks to the quick reactions of the other runners and our volunteers, the gentleman involved was able to recover and even managed to finished the course. On behalf of everyone at Hazelwood, we would like to thank the other participants and volunteers who stayed with the gentleman to ensure he was OK.
