Humber Bridge T-Shits

Blue is the Colour

Last Sunday saw runners taking up the challenge and ran the Humber Bridge Half Marathon in really hot conditions.  Every runner who successfully completed to gruelling course received a Blue T-Shirt .

Your T-shirts can be worn at this Saturday parkrun event, to show and be proud of what you have achieved.

The National Health Service is turning 70 on Thursday 5 July 2018. It’s the perfect opportunity to celebrate the achievements of one of the nation’s most loved institutions, to appreciate the vital role the service plays in our lives, and to recognise and thank the extraordinary NHS staff – the everyday heroes – who are there to guide, support and care for us, day in, day out.

The NHS logo is blue with white writing on so if you haven't got a Humber Bridge T-Shirt why don't you where different T-shirt, but it must be Blue with white on..

So Blue is Definitely the Colour

Please share this Information. Thank you for reading this.

special NHS parkrun

Just a reminder that, together with parkruns up and down the country, we will be hosting our special NHS parkrun this Saturday, June 9th

Peterpan parkrunners are being encouraged to wear blue and/or white on 9th June to reflect the colours of the NHS logo.

Hospital and community health workers are being encouraged to walk, run, or volunteer at one of three local 5km parkruns, either Peter Pan Park (next to Costello Stadium), Hull (East Park), off Holderness Road, or Humber Bridge.

This event is designed to celebrate the contribution of the NHS to our local communities, while encouraging people to get active.

Dame Kelly Holmes is leading the call nationally for parkrun and NHS organisations to come together. On this special occasion, new participants, including NHS staff are being encouraged to join their local parkrun

Linda HINCHCLIFFE will be down again at Peter Pan Park to take some great photographs of our NHS70 Special Event plus the KUHAC Couch25k Graduation also that morning.

A big THANK YOU!!.. to everyone who has offered to volunteer for the 9th June. We have a full roster including loads of Marshals to cheer the NHS staff and the KUHAC Couch25k Graduation which also takes place that morning.
