What a blistering start to the weekend, thankfully the rain did stay away for the majority of the run. This week 336 people ran, jogged or walked the course, of whom 7 were first timers to parkrun, (welcome to the parkrun family), and 23 were visiting Rushmoor for the first time. The wind seems to have helped push 56 parkrunners to new Personal Bests (wow!). Representatives of 30 different clubs took part. A great big shout out to our milestones this morning, with regulars Vanessa Cosby and Debbie Morton reaching their 50th run, and Richard Clark-Lyons doing his 100th run. The event was made possible by 34 volunteers: Chris BALE, William BOUGHTON, Madeleine CHARBINE, Murray CROTON, James EWING, Alexander FORTUNE, Alison FORTUNE, Duncan FORTUNE, Deborah HEIGHES, Paul HURFORD, Ian JENNINGS, Beverley JENNINGS, Kenton JENNINGS, Jo LLOYD, Jenny LOMAS-PARAM, George LYLE, William MCLEOD, Debra MCLEOD, Grace MCLEOD, Kevin MCTAGGART, Danielle MOORE, Lily MOORE, Martha MOORE, Amanda MORWOOD, Nicky NORTON, Alexander John RADFORD, Marcia TOLFTS, Steve TYLER, Livi WAKE, Dominic WAKE, Jo WAKE, Tilly WAKE, Shireen WALKER, Angela WESTON. Thank you all. If you feel giving volunteering a go contact firstname.lastname@example.org. There are a number of roles for everyone, (this week included the unique roles of token sorting windbreak support and wind strewn finish token chaser). Today's full results and a complete event history can be found on the Rushmoor parkrun Results Page. Don’t forget there will also be an extra parkrun day on Christmas Day and New Years Day starting at 9am.
