Christmas 2017

Hi All,

Sedgefield parkrun will be holding a Christmas Day parkrun this year at the usual parkrun time of 9am.

Mike Leakey will be putting on his Santa hat to organise the event on the day and hopefully have a bunch of willing elfs (volunteers) to help him.

Ho, ho, hope to see you on the day!

Happy Christmas,
Sedgefield parkrun team.

Christmas Day and New Year Day

In addition to the usual Saturday parkrun. The team at Sedgefield are hosting a Christmas Day and NYD parkrun, both start at 9am.

Please note that the only facility at the park that will be open will be the car park so please plan accordingly as there will be no toilets available.

We encourage you to bring your own refreshments to enjoy after the run.

Merry Christmas.

Christmas Day and New Year Run

Sedgefield parkrun are delighted to announce that we are planning to hold a parkrun on both Christmas Day and New Years Day, both 9 am start.

Please note that only the park and the car park will be open for these events. The cafe, visitors' centre and toilets will all be shut. In the past we have all brought our own hot chocolate and home baking to share afterwards and we hope that this will happen again.

As with any parkrun it may be cancelled at the last minute if weather conditions in the park are not suitable to hold the event safely.

We hope to see you there. Merry Christmas, The Sedgefield parkrun team.

3rd Birthday celebration run

This Saturday (21st March) sees our 3rd anniversary run.

We will celebrate mainly with the run itself and there will be a short presentation of annual prizes prior to the run at 8.50am just outside the visitors' centre at the start. Fellow parkrunners are encouraged to bring home baking to share with others and we do of course have a wonderful cafe to reward ourselves with a post run coffee.
