Get more from your parkrun with Vitality
Running is one of the most simple and accessible ways of improving your health. That’s why Vitality has partnered with parkrun. Vitality is health and life insurance that rewards you for being healthy. As a Vitality member, when you take part in a parkrun you earn Vitality points which can lead to bigger rewards with a range of exciting partners.
Anyone can give parkrun a go, and runners of all abilities are welcome – from those taking up running for the first time, to Olympians training for first place. By taking part in parkrun’s free, weekly 5k timed runs you can also earn Vitality points at the same time. With over 330 weekly runs in parks all over the country, now there’s even more incentive to find your local parkrun and get started.

Start earning points for your parkrun
Already a Vitality member? You can earn 5 Vitality points for volunteering and 10 points for taking part each week - helping to contribute to the 40 Vitality points available each week for getting active. Simply link your Vitality account to parkrun to start being rewarded.
1. Register Register here and follow the instructions to set up a new profile. You'll need your Vitality membership number so make sure you have it to hand. You can find your Vitality membership number on your membership card, on the Vitality Member Zone or on any emails you have been sent from Vitality. If you're an existing parkrunner you'll need to edit your parkrun profile, using the link provided in your weekly email, rather than setting up a new one.If you don’t have a weekly parkrun email, you can request that we send you this link by clicking here.
2. Link your parkrun profile to Vitality Click on the link in your confirmation email and enter your Vitality membership number to link your parkrun profile to Vitality. Don’t forget to print your personal barcode as you’ll need to scan this each time you run to get Vitality points.
3. Start running Make sure your parkrun barcode is scanned and that you are recorded on the results for each event you take part in. If you volunteered, make sure your effort is recorded with the local team. Just follow these steps and every time you run or volunteer Vitality will add your points to your Vitality points statement within two weeks.
Important information Vitality aim to add your points to your Vitality points statement within two weeks, however it could take up to four weeks. You're able to earn 40 points a week for getting active so if you've already reached your weekly points limit and you complete a parkrun, you won't receive any points for that run. Vitality can only award Vitality points if your barcode is scanned at each event you take part in.
