Double wow!! Massive turnout this morning with 497 runners joining us on the links.
Thank you all for your patience in the funnel as we worked through handing out the tokens in the queues. We formed two queues to prevent a build up beyond the timers and we did our very best to make sure everyone got the correct token - however, if you feel you are in the wrong position please let us know.
We had 6 runners this morning who ducked out of the funnel before taking a token, and we think we have fixed this. Please remember to take a token if you cross past the timers.
A few runners who were scanned are showing as errors, so if you were scanned and aren't showing in the results please email. Full run report is below:
This week 497 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 48 were first timers and 47 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 27 different clubs took part.

The female record is held by Charlotte PENFOLD who recorded a time of 17:37 on 30th June 2018 (event number 298).
The Age Grade course record is held by Guy BRACKEN who recorded 91.45% (16:23) on 1st November 2014 (event number 122).
Whitley Bay parkrun started on 16th June 2012. Since then 10,342 participants have completed 86,648 parkruns covering a total distance of 433,240 km, including 14,506 new Personal Bests. A total of 914 individuals have volunteered 7,081 times.
