The weather couldn't have been much more different from last week - Saturday morning was fresh and frosty which made for almost perfect conditions for parkrun (perhaps it got a little slippery as things warmed up and the mud thawed, but I was very pleased that the rain held off until we had finished), and 24 of you achieved personal bests - well done to all of you.
We welcomed 347 walkers, joggers and runners this week, including 30 first timers - for 8 people it was their first parkrun ever. Thank you for choosing Andover parkrun; I hope to see you again soon.
Congratulations to Tracy Green for earning her 100 parkrun milestone - a fantastic achievement. It seems we forgot to do the milestone t-shirt photo again this week - I do hope that those of you have have received their t-shirts recently will wear them again in a few weeks time (7th December).
This week, parkrun was made possible by the following volunteers:
Janice COOK • Ian OLDACRE • Martin HUGHES • Lewis JONES • Colin STOKES • Julie JACOBS • Helen JUDE • Jade NEWSUM • Jim KENT • Anna B • Bas JACOBS • Christina SEARLE • Rebekah SEARLE • Raymond SEARLE • Ian MORRISON • Miles HUGHES • Rebecca MCCOY • Jane WHITING • Paris JONATHAN • Zacharius BURTON • Louise BROWN
Thank you all for your continued support - we couldn't do this without you. Please have a look at the future roster if you would like to be involved. All of the roles are straightforward, you’ll be given full instructions on the day, and will be supported at all times. Volunteering at parkrun is a great way to support the community, meet new people and learn new skills. If you would like to discuss any of the roles, please do come and see me or another of our run directors one Saturday.
The full results from this week’s event can be found on the Andover parkrun results page.
Have a great week,
