A shout out first to your volunteers, who make parkrun possible, special thanks to Ally Butt, Maya Butt & Harriet Widdows, who performed admirably on their volunteer debuts.With a full roster and extra people available to marshal, we were able to have a very smooth event, with no problems for run director Rob to sort out This week. We have a pretty much full roster for next week already, although we are always grateful of extras as marshals if you fancy a rest from running.
We were pleased to welcome 2 people undertaking their first parkrun, so welcome to parkun and to Barking to Susan Clark & Farhan Arif. We were also delighted to welcome 8 people making their first appearance at Barking, so welcome to Gloria Hristova, Ikram Arif, Jacob Kelly, Rob Thomson, Toby Gerrard, Dan Louw, Daniel Quartly & Russell Edgings. 104 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 11 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 15 different clubs took part.
