This week 133 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 9 were first timers and 14 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 13 different clubs took part.
Among those taking part was David Wright, who clocked up his 50th parkrun.

Christmas is not far off and Barrow parkrun will continue as normal throughout December, but with a couple of extras - there will be a parkrun on Christmas Day, as well as one on New Year’s Day. Both events always attract a great turnout but to make them happen we also need strong volunteer support - please get in touch with firstname.lastname@example.org if you can lend a hand!

The male record is held by Phil WAITE who recorded a time of 15:12 on 3rd October 2015 (event number 206).
The Age Grade course record is held by Lizzie BROWNE who recorded 90.24% (16:24) on 21st January 2012 (event number 17).
Barrow parkrun started on 24th September 2011. Since then 4,860 participants have completed 54,215 parkruns covering a total distance of 271,075 km, including 8,692 new Personal Bests. A total of 719 individuals have volunteered 7,762 times.
