This week 213 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 19 were first timers and 26 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 18 different clubs took part.
This week at Barrow parkrun we had International women's day #IWD. It was a fantastic turnout for it too. Perhaps it may have also been the word “Cake” was mentioned as we had a few milestone runners this week.

We had support too this week from the WASPI Ladies to support International Womens Day, they really were very good supporters.

Our very own #thisgirlcan had her own tee shirt, Jill Thompson would have loved this day, so it was fitting that she had her own tee shirt draped on her tree, Jill will always be part of parkrun and will never be forgotten.
