Welcome to Basildon parkrun Run Report 298, this week sent in by Run Director Dave Mullender!
MILESTONE , MILESTONE !
Our very own Kalli Isborne has reached 100 parkruns.
Well done Kalli, and thank you for all the cake.
This week we saw 150 of you, from 14 different clubs, run, jog and walk around a lovely muddy and slippery Northlands Park, to achieve 16 PBs. 14 first timers came to Basildon, with tourists from as far a field as Chelmsford and Southminster, but the winner for most miles goes to Orpington.
This was made possible by 20 hi-viz hero’s, who timed you, scanned you, and pointed you in the right direction, while keeping a eye on you, for your safety.
If you would like to volunteer for one of the roles, whether it be marshalling, timing or scanning, follow the link on the web site.
Your parkrun needs YOU!
