parkrun - fun for all the family :-)
This week 417 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 71 were first timers and representatives of 28 different clubs took part.
Without our volunteers parkrun would not happen! Big thank you to all our hivis heros past, present and future. We have volunteering roles that enable you to partake in the event too, if you have a spare hour on a Saturday morning please contact us on the face book page or messenger, or email into parkrun@beltonhouse.com
This week we even had a hivis hero on tour who ran and did barcode scanning for us, Pete Flynn his home parkrun being Rother Valley

68 of your achieved new personal bests! well done all, this included father and son team Stephen and Daniel Fay (pictured above) who enjoyed ringing the PB this week....its always great to hear the bell ringing, be loud and proud. If you didn't know, the PB bell is located on the table next to the green hut.
One of the many tourists joining us this week was Roger Smith from Desford Striders, home parkrun is Conkers, we had a lovely chat on the way round and supported Katie Limmer to a new PB. Katie described the picture above as the 'The PB dream team'. Where else can you speak to a complete stranger in a safe environment and get a huge dose of encouragement regardless of age or ability......PARKRUN!

Joining the 100 milestone club this week is Sue Brewin with Merlin her 4 legged furbabie. Well done Sue and Merlin, look forward to seeing you in your 100 Tshirt. We may have to think about badges of honour for the furbabies!
Joining the 50th Milestone club was Simon Marshall. Well done Simon!

Fraser Marshall (pictured in the black and white hivis vest) was RD this week, he has been learning the ropes and shadowing Gordon Geach to enable Fraser along with wife Kate and Edina Burns to open Junior parkrun.....Opening soon at Wyndham Park....keep watching this space for further updates.

The male record is held by Thomas TRIMBLE who recorded a time of 14:54 on 16th February 2019 (event number 148).
The Age Grade course record is held by Barbara EVELING who recorded 94.24% (25:44) on 21st April 2018 (event number 110).

Belton House parkrun started on 7th November 2015. Since then 7,697 participants have completed 43,825 parkruns covering a total distance of 219,125 km, including 9,654 new Personal Bests. A total of 635 individuals have volunteered 3,515 times.
