Event Number 192 – 08th February 2020

Belton House parkrun
Event Number 192
08th February 2020

Luckily we missed storm Ciara on Saturday and 454 of you ran, walked and jogged the course! Great turn out.

Unfortunately the Belton House grounds did sustain some damage, however the National Trust are already starting to address the clean up.
117 of you gained personal bests, 49 turned up and completed Belton House parkrun for the first time, and 31 representatives of different clubs.
Well done every one!

29th February 2020
There are 5 Saturdays in February this year, this is the 7th time it has occurred dating back to 1772!
This only happens in a leap year and the last one being 2004, so with that in mind we thought we should celebrate being able to complete 5 parkruns in February 2020 with a RUNSIE, now i can hear you all say "whats a RUNSIE" it's a onsie being worn for a run :) so dig out your winter comfy onsie PJ's and come and celebrate the 29th February with us.

07th March 2020
#IWD
07th March is International Woman's Day parkrun.

Promoted by parkrun Uk and supported by 'This girl can'
This Girl can is supported by Sports England and lottery funded.
Parkruns stats show although 54% of woman are registered with parkrun, however are under represented, therefore we would love you all to promote the IWD and let woman know how friendly parkrun is and that they can run, walk or jog (no pressure) and promote the day by wearing PURPLE.

Don't worry boys this is happening within a normal parkrunday and and hope to see as many of the boys as possible supporting also by wearing PURPLE :)

28th March 2020
Belton House parkrun's 200th event!
Can you believe Belton House parkrun will be reaching it's 200th event!
Watch this space on how we will be celebrating the day.................
That's all for now folks, see you next parkrunday 15th February 2020
