Run report-Event #295, 7th February 2015

Today’s weather.

Cold with a little drizzle.

Photos on Saturday were taken by Andy Smith

Course setting and marking out.

Saturday’s course was marked out by Geoff Oliver who I noticed running as a 30 minute pacer (29:55 actual time). He then pedalled round again to collect the signs. We should all show our appreciation to Geoff and the team of cyclists, working on a rota, who mark the course each week.

Shortly we shall be losing 2 out of the 6 cyclists through posting away and domestic actualities. We now desperately need to recruit more to join the honourable yet unseen group of volunteers essential to keeping everything running smoothly.

Have you ever tried running the course without the signs to guide you? It is so easy to find yourself running around like a headless chicken once you lose the route.

So if you enjoy running at Black Park it is so easy to give something back as a volunteer without losing a run. Please get in touch as a matter of urgency.

Belongings left behind.

Pink “Race for Life” cap and black i-phone armlet pouch.

Go Ape concession

I was reminded on Saturday that the concession of 15% off for Go Ape activities still operates. QUOTE code BPRUNNER to use this concession
