Run Report #432 9th September 2017

Today's Weather and running conditions:

A bright autumnal morning with sunshine and clouds. The ground was firm underfoot with a few puddles.

News from the Park:

Black park was it's usual beautiful setting for parkrun today. A slight chill in the air but little wind and essentially dry. A vast difference to the conditions in the Caribbean with Hurricane Irma running riot and the Clermont parkrun in Florida cancelled as a precaution to the worsening conditions.

The build up to the event was as usual managed well and at 9:00am we were released!

The post run discussion by the newly formed 'News Team' at the San Remo coffee hut involved a certain nervousness as we realised that we would have to think of something to write here! Our main conversation involved the etiquette of puddles and how to navigate them when running. Overall we thought it best to head straight at them and not deviate as it would waste time! Sorry for anyone who gets splashed in the future!!

We will be chatting with attendees in the future for any interesting stories and tales 'from the field' and will write them up in the future.
