444 people ran, jogged and walked the course, the highest turnout since Parkrun returned. As September begins, we saw 33 first timers, 52 new Personal Bests and 36 representatives of different clubs take part. As a quick reminder to our participants, please be cautious when taking dogs on the course with you; we ask that you keep them on a non-extended lead, close to you. We would like to avoid a game of chase with a herd of runners.
This week, we also saw an incredible age grade result from Fiona Kennedy of 91.94%, the 3rd person ever to score over 90% on the Black Park course, with a time of 21:43. Some may know Fiona as she has been the race director for the Langley Park summer series in the past, and has been run director at Northala Fields Parkrun, not too far from Black Park. This is a remarkable result, congratulations to Fiona for making Parkrun history this week!
Additonally, we had a few milestones this week-a massive well done to everyone!
