Another week, another Parkrun (#577)

Although the weather was not as atmospheric as last week, there is something quite satisfying about running in the rain; it’s ‘character building’, as some would say. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t know, since I was in the shelter. Maybe another day!

436 people ran, jogged and walked the course, with 31 first timers; despite the slightly wet weather, this has been one of the higher turnouts since Parkrun returned in July. 44 new Personal Bests were recorded (congratulations!) and 38 representatives of different clubs took part. Again, as conditions become more autumnal, please be wary of chestnuts, conkers, whatever hazards that nature brings, while running the course!

This week we had some more milestones-well done to everyone!

50 Club: Ann OSTROWSKI
