“Takeover by the Maroon’s & Gold’s”

This weekend the conditions were perfect for running around Bramley park. We had another fantastic club takeover with the Pudsey & Bramley Athletic club . I would like to thank everyone who turned up to volunteer or run, particularly a big thank you to Joanne Boocock for all her hard work in organising a good team from Pudsey & Bramley. We had slight problem processing the results with the internet connection but once that was resolved the results were processed, so apologies for delays.

Joanne got things started making the announcements - this role is a very important its to make runners aware of any problems out on the course, for example around the perimeter of the field, uneven ground which becomes a trip hazard and exciting as this task is, it is our duty as part of the admin team to make people aware of this so please be patient and listen to the run director before the off. While you're out there running if you see any thing that you are not happy with please let us know and we will try and sort it out.

Volunteering

I know that we keep mentioning this but we are still after volunteers for future events. We keep saying that if you volunteer three times per year this would keep the event on going. If we don’t get enough volunteers we would have to cancel future events.

Please feel free to volunteer even if you haven’t done a role before we would always put someone who has got experience with you in a certain role. So if you want to volunteer at future Bramley parkrun events please feel free to email us at bramleyhelpers@parkrun.com or please see Lisa or myself before or after parkrun on a Saturday morning.

See you all next weekend
