Acorns Children’s Hospice provides care for children and young adults up to the age of 18 with life threatening and life limiting conditions. The charity rely hugely on fundraising to provide this support, and one of the ways we raise money is through events! One of the largest event which we hold is our Santa Run on 3rd December at Cannon Hill Park.

They have offered a discount for all parkrunners, just enter code - "PARKRUN5" when applying.

The charity are looking to have 600 entries this year, the website with all of the information is shown on the attached poster.

—————– CHARITY QUIZ NIGHT —————–

The inaugural charity quiz will be held on 7th May 2016 and will be raising money for Warwickshire Wildlife Trust, Leukaemia Care and Brueton parkrun and will take place at 1st Shirley Scout HQ. The quiz will start at 7:30pm. Teams of 6 - £5 per person (We can join 2's/3's/4's up if you don't have a 6)

Tickets will be on sale on a 1st come 1st served basis on Saturday mornings however if you want to secure a team, please email bruetonoffice@parkrun.com

There will be a raffle on the night, bring your own food / drinks. Please help support this event and make it a success.



Local Event – Centurion Grand Prix
