Dear parkrunners

You may have noticed that Christmas day 2016 and New Years day 2017 are both Sundays... otherwise known as Bryn Bach juniors parkrun day!

We have had a chat with the Lee and the 5k team and agreed the following:

Sunday 25th December - 5k parkrun will take place at 9am

There will be NO junior parkrun - why not turn up and run as a family.... or volunteer .

Don't forget all under 11's must run with an adult at the 5k run

Sunday 1st January - 2k junior parkrun will take place at 10am

There will be NO 5k event - why not turn up and encourage our juniors ... or volunteer.

Both events will need volunteers so please let them know if you can help out

Don't forget we have entered the 'cold' season so keep an eye on our Facebook page for any weather updates!

Dear runners

We have made the very difficult decision to cancel tomorrows junior parkrun .

The park was treacherous today and sub zero temperatures are forecast again overnight with a risk of sleet and snow on higher ground ...... which we are!

Runner safety is our priority

We are delighted to announce the launch of Bryn Bach junior parkrun on Sunday 9th October 2016.

The run starts at 9:00am at Parc Bryn Bach, Tredegar - please be there by 8.40 for the pre run briefing and warm up .
