Flaming June has given way to July and with no let up in the warm weather today was again, a hot one!
Another stunning day with near perfect conditions and the course looking fab with a nice gentle breeze to cool one down on the river band and seafront before the return journey back to the finish. It's easy to take this great weather for granted but remembering the days of wind and freezing conditions makes it even more special.
Fancy taking on another challenge?
Burnham on Sea Harriers are holding a race on the evening of Weds July 17th.
The 10k Pawlett Plod is a multi-terrain (track and road) route taking in the beautiful countryside along the mouth of the river Parret and Pawlett hams.
For the first time, it is also included as part of the "somerset series"
With full Licensed clubhouse (for that cold post race beverage), barbecue and changing facilities this is one not to miss. Be quick though, only 20 places remain!
Details and entry link here.
With the sunshine came the smiles (and just a little bit of sweat)!
