Once the rain cleared, it was actually quite warm and pleasant for todays parkrun. We had 427 participants today, with 26 doing their first ever parkrun. We had 77 first timers to Burnham and Highbridge, with visitors from all directions. Our numbers were boosted by the local BoS Swim and Sports Academy Triathlete club, with a great turn out of youngsters, and not so young, who cycled to Apex and then ran, but I think declined the lake for the swim.
There was a great 72 PBs this week, good conditions compared to last weeks gale, so well done to you all. The pacers may have contributed to getting some of you round in that faster time, so a big Thank You to them
