I'll be your RD on 1st June - I'm looking for a time keeper, two scanners and some marshals to help me. Get in touch with us at email@example.com if you want to help this week (or any future date).
PLEASE NOTE - there is NO parkrun at Nowton Park on 8th June due to Race for Life. Please take the chance to try some of the other events in our area.
Saturday 1st June is GP Pledge day. The Royal College of GPs and parkrun are trying to get at least 1000 GPs to pledge to take part in parkrun - to support and promote the parkrun practices initiative. If you are a GP or can persuade someone who is one to take part, you will be most welcome. We have a definite committment from the BSE Angel Hill practice, so please make them welcome. If you want to find out more, just type in parkrun practice in your search engine and visit the RCGP site.
Saturday 29th June will be our 6th Anniversary. I'm sure we will be doing somethong different to mark the occassion - watch out for an announcement.
