Become Part Of The Team

Is there anyone out there interested in learning how to process the Bushy parkrun results? We would like to spread the load a little wider.

Full training and support provided.

Please e-mail ray@parkrun.com to register your interest.

There are many other ways that you can help and still run regularly such as writing race reports, transporting kit, becoming a pacer, etc.

Non-runners are also very welcome to join the team. Maybe you bring friends and family with you each week and would like to contribute to the event we all love?

JUNIOR parkrun

The first Sunday of each month, 11.00am start just inside Teddington Gate in Bushy Park.
A flat 2k course, mass start and results in handicap format.

New runners need to register with Paul Graham or Simon Brazil via e-mail: peej2008@live.co.uk

Some safety advice for runners and spectators

Runners should ensure they are medically fit for a 5k run and make every effort to warm up before the event.

No water is supplied. Runners are responsible for their own hydration needs. There is a drinking fountain near the play park (approx. 4k).

Runners may request to use the Bushy parkrun first aid kit for minor injuries (cuts, grazes, etc). We will, of course, contact the emergency services should the need arise.

If running with dogs please keep them on a short lead.

There are deer roaming freely in the park. Please be sensitive to them. They may behave erratically if anxious. Some dog walkers allow their dogs off the lead, please also be aware of them.

The route is multi-terrain. Please take extra care in wet or icy conditions.

The run starts and finishes near a car park. Children should be closely supervised.

To ensure everyone's safety, spectators, please supervise children closely and keep dogs on leads near the start and finish areas.

Pheasantry Cafe

The new cafe and visitor centre is now open.
Try it out.
There is lots of parking, it's just 2 minutes jog to the start, great for a post run coffee and you can miss the queues exiting the park.
