Event #64

Good evening parkrunners, that was a good parkrun on Saturday, with 277 participants including 31 first timers taking part.  We also had the Ladies Rugby club come and do a “takeover” where they provided some Marshall’s and finish area volunteers and most importantly from my point of view as RD, cake!

Unfortunately there was an incident with another park user on Saturday. Please can we remind everyone that we do not have right of way over other park users and care should be taken as you don’t know whether someone or something is around the next corner.

In exciting news this week junior parkrun is coming to Bishops Stortford on Sunday.  It is going to be starting and finishing at Grange Paddocks Leisure centre and is a 2k for 4-14 year olds for more details please see http://www.parkrun.org.uk/grangepaddocks-juniors/

I’m handing the RD reins over to Chris and will be back in the new year. I hope you all have a lovely festive season.
