Castle Park parkrun
Event number 100
24th August 2019
So, Castle Park parkrun achieved yet another milestone by hosting its 100th event in glorious sunshine and temperatures soaring into the low to mid twenties at nine in the morning. The heat and long weekend (of course) did not put the runners off and 372 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 34 were first timers and even in this heat, 33 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 27 different clubs took part.
The event was made possible by 28 volunteers who really deserve a big thank you for giving up your time to make it possible for everybody else to enjoy the event. THANK YOU!:
