Run Report for Event #368

This week 618 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 10 were first timers and 77 recorded new Personal Bests, including one of you recording Chelmsford Central parkrun's 27,000th personal best. We were back to our normal start and finish although it was still slippy underfoot which makes the personal bests even more impressive.

But parkrun is much more than about personal bests especially when you've got your own supporter posse to cheer you on

Massive thanks to all of you volunteering well ahead of the run it certainly makes life easier for the core team. Please email in if you can volunteer over the Christmas period as some of our regular volunteers are away and we're running 4 parkruns over 11 days so plenty of volunteer slots to fill.

As it was the first Saturday of the month this week was also the ever popular pacer week where we had pacers volunteering to run from 20 minutes through to 32 minutes

The pacers are constantly checking the time to make sure their pace is spot on..

...and then spend 30 seconds bouncing about by the finish hoping we don't notice, 23 mins next month for you Mr Barr!!

and finally Chelmsford's 27,000th personal best was Steven Eaves who knocked of 2mins 16 secs his previous best time to romp home in 27.33. Well done Steven.
