If you've never volunteered before, why not give it a go?! There are plenty of opportunities to give a bit back to your parkrun. All you need to do is email us on and let us know what dates you are available. We will then pop you on the roster, you'll get an email reminder nearer the time and you'll enjoy parkrun just as much - but you'll have added feel good factor!

WK #376 (624)

Unfortunately, over the past few weeks, we have had a few complaints from park users about runners participating in parkrun. As we always stress in the run brief, we do not have priority over other park users. We therefore ask you to keep left as much as possible, which we understand is difficult when there are so many of you, especially at the start. Please keep your heads up so that you can make allowances for cyclists and pedestrians coming towards you.
It also helps if you run without earphones in, you can then hear other runners shout warnings of impending cyclists and other park users.
