Event number 297
11th January 2020
This week there was a takeover at Chippenham parkrun by the Chippenham Harriers. The Chair of the Harriers Kirsty was the guest RD for the day and did a marvelous job. The majority of the volunteers were Harriers and club members turned out in force, there was a sea of blue and white runners interspersed with the regular parkrunners. 295 people ran, jogged and walked the course. We welcomed 24 first timers to parkrun and 16 visitors from other parkruns. 24 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 24 different clubs took part.
Only one milestone this week and that was Kai Mc Garry who achieved his 50th parkrun milestone. He began running here in September 14 and has completed 29 of the 50 here at Chippenham.
