When the going gets tough..the tough go to Clumber...you were a crack team of Delta Force runners and walkers this morning, 'cold' what cold!!
Steve knows how to wrap up!
Even John had a shirt on this morning!!
Remember to keep an eye on the National Trust's twitter feed this winter for an early heads up on park closures due to bad weather...usually high winds 50 mph plus.

As a rule.. IF THE PARK IS OPEN SO ARE WE. there may be exceptions and times when we have to alter the route to keep it safe and even times when, at the last minute, we have to say NO its not safe and cancel. I'm a runner and so are most of our volunteers ( runners and walkers) ...we know how important your weekly parkrun fix is...
As Volunteers we'll always do our best for the event, please respect the decision and understand it is not always possible to get the word out of closures in the hours preceding a run.
Glad to report, despite a few wobbles, there were no reported injuries this morning and you all heeded the advice of the Run Director about being careful and not going for it. That said there were 32 personal bests today, well done, you naughty lot.
The Morning Brief
I'm aware that a group of runners choose to miss the brief and so any announcements about ice etc, are missed. Thankfully you are few in number but I would insist that you attend the brief as part of your duty of care toward your own safety and that of the other park runners, it is after all part of the parkrun code of practice.
BIG thanks to our volunteers this morning, proud to be a part of such a wonderful team of people...'cold' what cold?
The stats are below for those of you who work in accountancy.
See you all next week because Saturday Just wouldn"t be a Saturday without a parkrun ..now would it.
