A worrying weather report never really materialised at Clumber Park today for the 312 parkrun; standing water and a few gusts of wind couldn't deter our 322 runners.
The volunteers enjoyed the sunshine before we started. Have you volunteered yet? Why not have a go?
It was GOLD theme this week as we celebrated the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Peter and Christine Stevenson, who are both regular runners and volunteers at Clumber parkrun; they also brought lots of cake!!!
It was a week for new volunteers and volunteers undertaking new roles... scanning, timekeeping and cheerleading!
Our final mention this week goes to Harry Levick who ran his final parkrun with family and friends before jetting off the study in America for a year... Harry, do you know the way to San Jose?
