The first official Saturday parkrun of 2020, at Clumber Park, saw Roy as Run Director for over 400 runners...
Before the runners arrive Run Director Roy held a briefing with the volunteers, its like a 'whos who' in the volunteer circle along with a question of the week to get to know each other better; What have you forgotten recently?
Roy was full of praise for Mel, ex A&E nurse, who didn't complete her second lap as she stopped to help another runner with a serious ankle injury; that shows the true community that comes with parkrun, thank you!
