A windy Clumber Park saw a field of 436 runners at parkrun this morning. We had a pletheora of visitors this morning from Peterborough, Scarborough and Cleethorpes as well as international visitors from Austrailia and New Zealand...

Run Director Mark (not the short one!) gave a briefing at 8:55am to ensure we could make a start at 9:00am; if you were late this week please allow more time next week, we are extremely busy at this time of year!
This weeks 22 volunteers were assisted by Fred, he begged to help and also brought his own hi-viz jacket!

George, from New Zealand, came in 6th this weeks, after finishing we managed to grab a picture with his mum Karen who was helping out with Barcode Scanning.

Mark M (the short one!) was barcode scanning using the app this morning, someone got a picture as Bailey passed – Bailey is nearly as tall as Mark now!!!

This week 436 people ran, jogged and walked the course, of whom 46 were first timers and 62 recorded new Personal Bests. Representatives of 45 different clubs took part.

Clumber Park parkrun started on 29th June 2013. Since then 11,850 participants have completed 76,111 parkruns covering a total distance of 380,555 km, including 13,432 new Personal Bests. A total of 720 individuals have volunteered 5,709 times.
