Another great event from the team at Maltby. Always a winner this event.
I can normally eat more than my entry fee, I'm sure my priorities are all wrong but still great event for runners and eaters alike.

Butchers Arms, High Street Braithwell, S66 7AW
10.30am for 11am start
This historic race is a 1 lap course of 4.3 miles and includes the following roads in Braithwell and surrounding area:
The race starts on the Austwood Lane and continues until the runners take a right hand turn off-road onto a path that brings them to Stainton Lane. The runners continue on this lane until they reach Stainton, turning left up Raw Lane, which becomes Cockhill Lane. They then turn left up Cockhill Field Lane until they reach Braithwell, turning left after the old post office returning to Austwood Lane. The course is not suitable for wheelchairs.

Fancy a superb and undulating trail race of 6.3 miles, with 1.1 mile being on the road? It's run over stiles, streams, fields and paths.
If you do then please support a local running club, it's cheap as chips and there is even nibbles laid on afterward plus a bar. Winner!
