At event 401 a total of 259 people ran, jogged and walked our lovely muddy course. Here's Steve setting everyone off with the infamous Colwick parkrun bell...
We welcomed 28 first timers...
and a lovely bunch of tourists including these three from Leicester who also joined us at the Daleside Cafe and weren't camera shy...
Also amongst the tourists was veteran Gurkha of 25 years Bishnu Singh who is planning to complete 207 parkruns carrying a 22kg Doko (traditional Nepalese basket) raising funds for the Gurkha Trust. You can read more about his challenge here. We had a look at his stats ahead of his visit and noticed that he usually did his parkruns in around 29 minutes. We suggested anyone looking for a sub-30 stuck with him and he didn't disappoint... coming in at 30:03.
Congratulations to Michelle on her 100th parkrun and to Susan, Alison and Angie who all joined the 50 Club at Event 401.
