Perfect weather conditions for running at event number 14 for Conyngham Hall parkrun. We welcomed a large group of visitors this weekend. Chris Tinker and Stephen Morris, who came in position number 1 and 2, respectively, came with Leeds and Bradford Triathlon Club runners. We also had groups from Dewsbury Road Runners, Hyde Park Harriers and Valley Strider AC (photos courtesy of Ian Watson). We hope you all enjoyed your visit.
Junior runners Taylor Gledhill and Samuel Gibbins clocked up their 10th parkrun each. Taylor celebrated his with a new PB too.
Lots of our volunteers were keeping legs rested for peak performances at the Simplyheath Great North Run on Sunday. We hope they all thoroughly enjoyed the day! We were also joined by some very enthusiastic junior marshals, who cheered and provided high five power ups throughout the course.
Sadly, token number 47 did not return home. However, as both 46 and 48 were feeling a bit lost, we have made a new one ready for next week.
We visited the cafe for breakfast, including some scrummy pancakes and fresh fruit while we processed the results. It was great to see so many park runners join us.
The official bit...
