2019 was a special year for us at Conyngham Hall parkrun. It was the year it all began for us: Event number #1! We started with the 'A Course' in the Summer and saw many marvellous runners taking on Muddy Bank and storming up Conyngham Hall Hill!
Since those early days, we have had to make some adjustments to the course due to the Winter months and the challenges they bring with them... particularly the rain and the mud. Today we therefore ran our 'C Course', cutting out Muddy Bank and adding in some sections of two way traffic, allowing for a beautiful 5K walk, jog or run.
In the spirit of New Year, we had some people joining us for their first parkrun, and some people their third of the week! All were welcomed and encouraged by a fantastic set of volunteers, including our mini marshals on percussion!
We also had Baylee completing his 10th parkrun, which means he can now claim his Junior10 T-Shirt! Congratulations, Baylee!
